Jason Neise is a plumber that owns a plumbing company and also works with the Building Goodness Foundation. This organization is designed to help schools and hospitals in countries like Haiti and Nicaragua receive running water. Recently, Neise and other members of the Building Goodness Foundation travelled to Nicaragua to work at the Siuna Regional Hospital. The project manager of the foundation stated that when they arrived, the hospital was delivering several babies everyday without running water.
When members of the foundation, including Neise, surveyed the hospital, they found that the plumbing system was completely ruined and that necessary parts of showers, sinks, and toilets, were missing. Neise got to work repairing the septic system and constructing a new well to provide the hospital with water. After his work was done, the hospital had running water once more.
